What is a minor character?

A minor character (or what we define one as) is a character who only appears as a significant character in a few episodes, usually one or two. Of course, the character may appear as a background person or a "prop," but it doesn't count as one sighting.

Minor characters, however, are not characters who happen to not be the "main" characters. While you could argue that they could be defined as "minor characters" as well, they are not what we're looking for in this club. Characters such as Timmy and Token often appear in episodes and play big parts, and hence are not welcome in this club.

Good examples of minor characters include Josh (from "Toilet Paper"), Loogie/Luigi (from "Tooth Fairy Tats 2000"), The Mole (from the South Park movie), and Scott (from "Not Without My Anus" and "It's Christmas in Canada").

How do I join?

Send the club or =ridi a note or leave a deviant message to join. I encourage you deviantWatch us for updates and to advertise us in your journal. After all, more members equals more fun. Or something.

What are your standards for adding a peice of art to the club?

It is simple: as long as a minor character or a bunch of them are one of the main figures in the art, then we add that to the galleries.

People have been concerned weither having main characters with the minor ones disqualifies the art. It doesn't. For instance, picture with Stan and Gary will be added mostly because Gary is featured in it. However, we wouldn't want you to crop out Stan, because he is part of the art as well. We must not forget that the main characters are the ones that play major roles in these characters' appearances. They would be nothing without the interaction by the main characters. Of course, we will not feature a picture of just Stan (for instance), but having a main character with a minor one is not a crime.

To submit your art, send a note to the club with the URL of the pictures. You see, we're way too lazy to go through all the deviations in the club's inbox.
